Compass Mentoring & Schools Work Coordinator
This is an excellent opportunity to join Just42's staff team as a Compass Mentoring & Schools Work Coordinator for Kesgrave High School. The success of this project in Farlingaye High School means we are looking to take on another team member to work alongside our existing Farlingaye Coordinator, who has developed the project in both schools.
As a long established local charity we offer quality youth and children’s work within a Christian ethos. Just42 is committed to the importance of safeguarding and promoting children/young people’s welfare.
The new Coordinator will be responsible for expanding the support offered at Kesgrave High School this would include Coordinating our Compass Mentoring project within the school and also developing other projects to run in the school too. This could include starting a Christian Union, offering a babysitting course and developing other ideas as suggested by the school or pupils. Training will be given on Compass Mentoring so the successful candidate is confident with the project.
In accordance with the equality act 2010 it is a genuine occupational requirement that the post holder is a practicing Christian.
Outline Terms
The hours will be between 30 to 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days. This position has an hourly rate of between £12.42 and £13.35 depending on experience and will also include 5 weeks holiday on a pro-rata basis, life cover and pension benefits.
Due to the rural settings of our work, access to your own vehicle to travel to and from our office, local schools and other locations will be essential.
